This position offers a 24‑hour per week part‑time commitment, a fixed‑term (two‑year) contract, and a hybrid working pattern that balances home and on‑site presence. Service location: Service Headquarters, Huntingdon. Annual salary ranges from £37,280 to £39,152 (pro‑rata). About the Role You will champion inclusive practices across the Service, coordinate delivery of the EDI Strategy, lead the Employee Inclusion Networks, guide teams through Equality Impact Assessments, develop engaging EDI training, monitor and report progress, advise on inclusive practices, maintain EDI information on the intranet, contribute to inclusive policy development, collaborate with senior leaders, influence cultural change, and highlight the positive impact of diversity and inclusion. Qualifications Significant practical human resources and/or equality, diversity & inclusion experience. Experience of providing advice on equality, diversity issues & inclusion at all levels. Exposure to training needs analysis and training delivery to a variety of audiences. Experience of facilitation as a style of engagement and delivery. Understanding and experience of managing and bringing about cultural change. Experience of developing, implementing and evaluating policies, procedures and action plans. A comprehensive knowledge of relevant equality legislation, codes of practice, regulations and case law. Understanding of wider equality, diversity & inclusion issues such as social inclusion and cultural awareness. Knowledge of the equality, diversity & inclusion issues current impacting on the public sector in general, and the Fire and Rescue sector in particular. Proven research, analysis and report presentation skills. Demonstrable commitment to continuous professional development. An innovative thinker with the ability to be creative.
