Graduate Civil Engineer

We are working on behalf of a respected multi-disciplinary Engineering Consultancy to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Civil Engineer with two+ years of post-graduate experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team delivering a diverse portfolio of housing, commercial and industrial infrastructure projects across the UK.

The successful candidate will support the appraisal, planning and detailed design of Civil Engineering schemes, gaining exposure to all project stages. Typical responsibilities will include undertaking feasibility studies, supporting flood risk assessments, producing detailed designs and calculations for adoptable highways and drainage (S38, S104, S278, etc.), and developing 3D ground models for cut and fill analysis and earthworks design. You'll also liaise with clients and external agencies, attend meetings and inspections, and be encouraged to progress toward professional chartership.

Requirements -

Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and around two years' Consultancy experience.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D (or similar) with strong MS Office skills.
Good understanding of Civil Engineering principles, standards and design processes.
Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
Commitment to continued professional development and achieving chartered status.
