HGV Technician – Day Shift

Pay: Pay starts from £19.26 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (08:00 – 16:30)
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in Corby. This role offers excellent pay, structured Monday to Friday hours, and the chance to work with a modern fleet in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain, and repair HGVs to a high standard
*
Perform routine and preventative maintenance and inspections
*
Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic tools and PC systems
*
Complete job cards, service, and inspection sheets accurately
*
Conduct road tests and ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
*
Handle vehicles, tools, and equipment with care
*
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Requirements
✅ NVQ / City & Guilds qualified technician or proven experience in vehicle repair and maintenance
✅ Full driving licence
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
💡 LGV C+E Licence and knowledge of Driver CPC or other legislated requirements are a bonus
