Overview The postholder will work broadly to support different elements of the production process within a busy, creative and supportive environment. Casual hours as and when required with flexibility to work occasional weekends and evenings. The role requires working collaboratively with colleagues, freelance creatives and pupils across a series of productions and events throughout the School year. Safety will be a priority whilst you ensure all areas of the theatre are tidy and well maintained, and as you undertake manual tasks in setting up spaces and equipment. Responsibilities Support the production process across a range of events and performances throughout the School year. Maintain and tidy all areas of the theatre, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Mentor the boys who are gaining experience in all elements of a theatre production. Attend performances in a technical, fire warden or front‑of‑house capacity to assist with the smooth running of productions. Work casually, providing flexibility for occasional weekend and evening work as required. Skills & Qualifications Enthusiasm for working with young people is essential. Strong ability to plan and prioritise. Knowledge of programming and operating lighting and sound consoles. Experience in a collaborative environment with a rapid turnover of work is desirable.
