Domestic Assistant (Maternity Cover) at Kent College, Canterbury (Canterbury, Kent) Fixed‑term, part‑time contract (up to 12 months) – 15 hours per week, 42 weeks per year on a rota basis. Salary: £12.60 per hour (£26,208 FTE). Job Overview We are looking for a friendly and reliable Domestic Assistant to join our Domestic Services team for a maternity cover period. Domestic Assistants are responsible for maintaining the residential properties of Kent College (including boarding houses) to a high standard. The role involves working in a team and supporting House Managers and the Head of Domestic Services across all school areas. Responsibilities Ensure properties are cleaned to a high standard. Assist House Managers and the Head of Domestic Services as required. Roll out cleaning schedules and maintain cleanliness across the boarding community. Support the Domestic Services team with other duties as requested by management.
