Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled design engineer to join our innovative team. As part of our design team, you’ll play a key role in transforming concepts into reality.Responsibilities:Create detailed P&IDs, layout plans, and general arrangement drawings using SolidWorksDevelop and manage a 3D library of standard plant itemsCollaborate with project engineers and clients to ensure designs meet specificationsSupport the quality control and validation of our manufactured systemsQualifications:A degree or qualification in Mechanical or Design Engineering is preferred, but we value hands-on experience and practical know-how just as highly.Proficiency in SolidWorks and a working knowledge of MS AutoCAD Lite (or similar CAD packages)Ideally, 3+ years’ experience in mechanical designA self-motivated, “can-do” attitude and willingness to get involved across projectsStrong attention to detail and a desire to continuously learnWhat We Offer:Competitive salary + Profit-Related Bonus SchemeFull-time, permanent role with long-term prospectsOn-site parking, free workwear, and social activitiesSupportive team and on-the-job training in specialist areas like P&IDs and water systemsA chance to shape your career in a friendly, inclusive, and high-growth businessPlease note: This role is primarily office-based, especially during the initial training and onboarding period.
