Customer Service Assistant Multi Skill - ESS – Defence, Energy and Government Services Join to apply for the Customer Service Assistant Multi Skill role at ESS – Defence, Energy and Government Services We're currently recruiting a dedicated Customer Services Assistant Multi Skill to help ensure the smooth running of operations in Defence on a part time basis, contracted to 17.5 hours per week. This role is contracted to 50.2 weeks per year. Overview This role supports the Defence sector by providing high-quality food and excellent customer service in a fast‑paced environment. You will maintain high standards of hygiene and safety and contribute to a welcoming and positive brand image. Key Responsibilities Preparing delicious, high‑quality food that delights our clients and customers Crafting eye‑catching food and counter displays that draw customers in Proudly representing Defence and embodying a positive brand image Handling transactions and operating the cash register efficiently Upholding the highest standards of food handling and hygiene Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations Ideal Candidate Bring a positive, can‑do attitude to everything you do Show genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service Excel as a supportive and collaborative team player Embrace working under pressure in a fast‑paced environment Demonstrate impeccable time management and reliability Prioritise safety in every task you undertake Previous experience in a similar catering role is a bonus, but enthusiasm is what truly matters About Us Part of Compass Group UK&I, ESS is the Defence, Government, and Energy services sector of Compass Group UK & Ireland.
