We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, proactive, and articulate individual with prior public and/or private sector bid‑writing and bid‑leading experience within a TFM, hard or soft FM (mechanical & electrical/cleaning/security) environment. You will be leading large and complex FM bids for a wide range of sectors, including the public sector, commercial properties, transportation, distribution, historic buildings and many more. A hybrid role based at our London office’s and home‑based, this fast‑paced, varied role will see you join a growing team within a rapidly expanding organisation, offering excellent opportunities for advancement and career progression. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and write detailed, compelling, high‑quality and well‑structured bids for proposals for hard services, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organisational objectives which describe the operational solution and key sections within ITTs and RFPs. Work with the Bid Writing team to create high‑quality documents and presentations, working to exact deadlines and creating high quality winning proposals to grow the business. Work with the Estimating team to develop the commercial part of each tender, and you will take the priced solution through our Governance process. Work within our bid process working closely with members of the business development team, the operational teams delivering soft services and specialists from across the business. Work with internal stakeholders, technical, operations and sales team to develop cost‑effective and innovative solutions for client needs, tailored to each bid. Develop relationships with prospective clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored bids that meet their expectations and requirements. Manage the end‑to‑end process ensuring deadlines are met, documents are compliant and submissions are professionally presented. Analyse market trends and industry standards to position our offering effectively. Assist in presenting bid solutions to prospective clients, address queries and support the sales team. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including operations, technical and finance departments to gather relevant information and ensure the bid meets client expectations and is commercially viable, using operational colleagues to sense‑check designs and work with internal teams to create innovative, bid‑winning solutions. Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft’s collaborative working tools, supplemented by a positive attitude, flexibility and willingness to work with a large network of colleagues across the company. Be organised, reliable and enthusiastic and able to meet deadlines. Working autonomously and prioritising workload, and the workload of others, you’ll lead our soft FM bids, including solutioning, writing, and reviewing high‑quality bids so that they can be completed and submitted in a timely fashion. In response to client questions, write accurate, succinct and persuasive narrative for the management and delivery of services. This role would suit an individual who is skilled at developing soft FM solutions, enjoys writing, working in a fast‑paced sales environment and would like to develop their bid‑leading capabilities.
