Class 1 Personnel are working with a local client to recruit a HGV2 Refuse Driver for their site based in Kettering. You will be delivering customers' products to the required premises ensuring all customers receive exceptional customer service as part of a multi-drop delivery route. The driver will ensure that all products are transported safely to the customers' premises, treating their freight as if it were their own.

Valid HGV 2 licence

CPC card

Tacho Card

Essential Criteria

Must hold full driving licence with HGV2 eligibility.
Maximum of 6 points on licence and no bans
Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
Main job description for the HGV2 Refuse Driver:

Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements at all times.
To participate in waste collections, manoeuvre the vehicle and take responsibility for collection route ensuring completion and report any issues that may occur to the line manager
All daily checks are undertaken ensuring defects are immediately reported and correct paperwork complete.
Always observe procedures and policies.
Manage your routing to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achieved.
Ensure the correct equipment and PPE, (personal protective equipment) is in good order and always used.
Deal with any customer issues in a polite and effective manner.Ideal Qualities:

Good attention to detail
Good level of physical fitness
Reliability and good time keeping skills.
previous experience working on Dustcarts is desirableWorking 37hrs a week Monday to Friday 06:30 to 16.30 pay rates from £15.84
