As a Science teacher, you will work with the team to contribute to an innovative curriculum that delivers student‑centred outcomes. Key responsibilities Teach Science across the relevant year groups in accordance with the national curriculum and the school’s plans for achievement. Design and deliver engaging lessons that foster enquiry, critical thinking and investigation skills. Plan and assess learning outcomes, using a range of techniques to support student progress. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to the department’s development. Participate in safeguarding and wellbeing activities and support the development of a safe, inclusive learning environment. Qualifications & experience Qualified teacher (PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent). Teaching experience (or ECT status) in Science at any stage of education, preferably at secondary. Strong subject knowledge and an enthusiasm for Science. Evidence of commitment to student‑centred learning and effective assessment. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
