Look no further Our client, Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, is urgently seeking a Back Check Inspection Operative to join their team in Eastfield.
About the Role:
As a Back Check Inspection Operative, you will play a crucial role in our production processes. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Performing inspections according to technical specifications on electronics component and systems to ensure they meet the required safety, quality and compliance standards.
Identifying and documenting defects, faults and non-compliance issues.
Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports of findings.
Safely operating equipment as required.
Setting up and running automated inspection routines.
Collaborating with team members to meet production targets
Maintaining a clean and organised work space
Following safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment
Strictly applying standardised processes in manufacturing across various tasks, including basic maintenance.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.
Ensuring the quality of operations by adhering to established standards.
Identifying and communicating any risks related to health, safety, quality, and environmental issues to the Team Leader.
Reporting all incidents and near misses, while applying the escalation process for any deviations in safety, quality, or performance.
Processing orders accurately and promptly.
Carrying out additional duties as assigned by the line manager.
What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
Knowledge and / or experience of maintenance and inspection techniques and duties.
Ability to interpret, read and apply technical data and specifications.
Proven experience in a quality control, inspection or manufacturing environment
Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques
Exceptional attention to detail and proven analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent software.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately, meeting deadlines consistently.
A practical aptitude for science or engineering skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
High flexibility and dependability.
A motivated mindset, eagerness to learn, and a good attendance record.
