Senior Asset Management Surveyor – Local Authority – HampshireContract – 6 months minimum (maternity cover)Rate: £425 per day (umbrella)Full‑time | 1 day per week in the officeAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Asset Management Surveyor to join a local authority in Hampshire on a maternity cover contract. You will be responsible for the effective management of a mixed commercial investment portfolio, including both directly let and ground‑leased properties. Key Responsibilities Carry out day‑to‑day investment portfolio duties for commercial assets. Undertake rent reviews, new lettings, lease renewals and all landlord & tenant matters. Process applications for landlord’s consent, surrenders and dilapidations. Provide estate management of multi‑let properties, including: Service charge management and budgeting Overseeing external letting agents (where appointed) Debt monitoring and income management Contribute to internal Project Groups where they involve your managed portfolio or require input from the Property Team. Ensure all work is carried out in line with the organisation's constitution and RICS guidelines. Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, commercial agents, internal departments and Property colleagues. About You RICS qualification (MRICS). Proven experience within a commercial property environment. Strong working knowledge and understanding of commercial leases. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
