We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Practice Nurse to join our clinical team; someone with excellent communication skills, astrong sense of empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-pacedenvironment. We are part of the WatlingStreet Primary Care Network and have a community team including nurses, socialprescribers and social work assistant supporting our patient populations. Job responsibilities Assist in and perform routine tasks related topatient care as directed by senior nursing staff and GPs Asthma/Peak Flow Readings/Feno/Spiro/COPD Requesting pathology tests, for example urineculture, bloods Ability to do referrals to local services Following agreed clinical protocols withreferral to senior nurses or GPs as appropriate Additional Expectations An understanding, acceptance and adherence tothe need for strict confidentiality Ability to use own judgment, resourcefulness andcommon sense A commitment to maintain a high professionalstandard of nursing care and keep up to date with all aspects of nursing carerelevant to the post A commitment to ensure all Health and Safetyrequirements and Infection Control measures are met and to report any problemsto the practice manager A commitment to the effective use of practiceand NHS resources.
