ROV Workshop Mechanical Technician Saipem is a global leader in engineering and construction for the energy and infrastructure sectors. The role is part of the ROV Asset department. Purpose of the position As ROV Workshop Mechanical Technician, you will assist in carrying out mechanical maintenance on Saipem ROV and equipment systems (ROV, TMS, Winch, HPU, A-Frame, etc.) under the direction of the Workshop Manager and Lead Workshop Technician. How you can support us Assist in mechanical maintenance activities on Saipem’s ROV and equipment under supervision of Lead technicians. Develop knowledge and experience on mechanical maintenance of ROV and equipment. Assist in maintenance and repair of workshop equipment. Become familiar with Saipem’s current protocols and industry codes, statutory rules and regulations. Ensure all activities comply with Saipem’s health, safety, quality and environmental policies. What we are looking for Required Industry training in mechanical disciplines, e.g., Time-served or equivalent. Desirable Previous mechanical maintenance experience in a similar role. Note: All applicants must reside in the UK and have full, permanent UK right‑to‑work status. Medical assessments are required as part of the offer of employment.
