Your new company and role

Hays' client is a private sector organisation based in Edinburgh. The organisation is looking for you to assist them on an initial 8-month contract with providing both on-site and remote desktop support. This role will be on-site, thus the client requires you to be an easy commute away.

This role will consist of the following:

Providing on-site and remote desktop support to end-users
Perform standard hardware break-fix tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing laptops, desktops and peripherals
Manage and support Dell laptops, ensuring certification standards are met
Utilise ServiceNow or similar platforms for logging and updating support calls
Support and maintain Citrix environments
Deliver excellent customer service, addressing user issues professionally and promptly
What you'll need to succeed

Experience with providing both on-site and remote desktop support
Experience providing hardware break-fix with desktops, laptops and peripherals
Good customer service skills
Enjoys working as part of a team and also the ability to use your own initiative
Driving licence may be required as there may be a requirement to support other client sites in Scotland
