Senior Solicitor - Family Law (All-Rounder) - Cheltenham - 6-10 Years PQE Location: Cheltenham Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience) A dynamic and expanding law firm is opening new offices in Cheltenham in 2026 and is seeking a Senior Family Solicitor with 6-10 years' post-qualification experience to lead and build the practice. This is a unique opportunity to make your mark, establish a new office, and grow a team from the ground up. The Role Handling a full range of family law matters (excluding legal aid). Leading the development of a new office and building a client base. Driving business development initiatives and shaping the practice. Managing and supervising junior colleagues. Delivering high-quality client service and maintaining professional standards. Contributing to the growth of the firm through leadership and innovation. Opportunity to bring your own paralegal to support you in building the practice. Candidate Requirements 6-10 years PQE in family law, with broad all-rounder experience. Strong technical and advocacy skills. Proven ability to manage matters independently and supervise others. Excellent business development skills and entrepreneurial mindset. Motivation, organisation, and a proactive approach to building a practice. Excellent communication and client care skills.
