About The Role This role holds overall responsibility for delivering the management agreement with both current and future landlords, and for overseeing all residential real estate matters that contribute to the effective and cost‑efficient delivery of the service charge at the Client Site serving 686 residents across five blocks. Winning the hearts and minds of residents will be pivotal to the success of this role. A strong working knowledge of leasehold frameworks, property law, taxation, insurance, service charge accounting, client relationship management, compliance, and risk management is essential. You will also be expected to assertively and passionately communicate the business vision to the wider team. Your Responsibilities Will Include Lead the overall communication strategy to maximise engagement and collaboration with residents, ensuring service charge funds are allocated to areas that enhance their property ownership experience. Compile the annual service charge budget, ensuring it demonstrates genuine value for money. Oversee the delivery of the service charge in accordance with the RICS guidelines and industry best practices. Collaborate with supply chain partners to explore how innovation and technology can reduce costs, while staying informed of industry‑wide service charge scopes and initiatives. Ensure residents receive excellent customer service from the service charge management team, with timely communication and resolution of queries, and conduct regular customer service surveys to measure satisfaction. Engage with residents to seek approval for increased spending, in line with the governance processes outlined in the latest Landlord and Tenant Act legislation. Ensure all health and safety requirements within the residential development are met, and that Macro complies fully with all relevant real estate legislation. Work closely with the Finance Partner to issue timely service charge invoices and provide accurate data for reconciliation. Understand asset life cycles to provide summary information and recommendations for sinking fund allocations. Drive sustainability and energy‑saving initiatives across the development and supply chain to reduce the overall carbon footprint. Stay up to date with all relevant changes in real estate legislation. About You The ideal candidate will have: A qualification delivered by TPI (The Property Institute), and/or RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors). Excellent knowledge of the residential real estate industry. Proven experience in residential service charge and supply chain management. A background in a similar role within facilities management. Strong communication skills, a customer‑facing approach, and a highly organised mindset. You are driven to grow your career and excited about the opportunities Macro has to offer.
