Town, United Kingdom Teach Now Full time

Year 3 Teacher (2-Day Job Share – Thursdays & Fridays)

About the Role

Teach Now is recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a warm, forward-thinking primary school in Enfield. This is a fantastic 2-day job share position (every Thursday and Friday) within a supportive three-form-entry team.

This role offers an ideal balance for teachers seeking reduced hours without the planning workload—all lesson planning, PPA and medium-term preparation are completed by the class job-share partner. You’ll step into a well-organised classroom with a strong routine, a highly effective LSA, and a cohort of well-behaved, motivated learners.

The school is looking for someone who can commit through to July and who will bring consistency, warmth and enthusiasm to the classroom on the days they teach.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality teaching using pre-planned lessons

• Support and extend learning for a lovely, settled Year 3 class

• Work collaboratively with the class teacher, year group team and leadership

• Support pupils’ confidence, curiosity and independence

• Contribute to a nurturing, child-centred school culture

• Attend additional events (e.g. parents’ evenings) when required—paid extra

What the School Offers

• An inspiring environment centred on pupil wellbeing and personal growth

• A friendly, collaborative Year 3 team

• Calm, well-behaved pupils who love to learn

• LSA support in class

• A strong ethos focused on developing confident, aspirational young people

About You

• QTS and KS2 classroom experience

• A positive, adaptable and committed practitioner

• Confident delivering high-quality teaching from shared planning

• Passionate about making learning meaningful and enjoyable

• Able to build rapport quickly with pupils, colleagues and families

If you’re looking for a rewarding part-time teaching opportunity with excellent support and minimal planning, we’d love to hear from you.
