Minimum qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 3 years of experience in three of the following security areas: network, web application/mobile, cloud, social engineering, scripting, tool development. Experience with operating system security across Linux or other operating systems. Experience communicating technical details through reporting and presentations to technical and executive audiences. Preferred qualifications Certifications in offensive security including OSCE, OSEP, OSEE, OSCP, CCSAS, CCT, INF, or related SANS courses. Experience in four or more of the following: network protocols, threat intelligence analysis, system and network administration, project management, developing applications, technical incident response processes, source code review, reverse engineering. Experience working with local business and management teams in managing consulting business generation, scoping or client management. Experience creating security tools with programming languages such as Python, C#, C/C++, Rust, Nim. Excellent communication, collaboration, and public speaking skills. Successful candidates must be eligible and will be required to obtain UK security clearance. About the Job Mandiant’s Red Team delivers adversarial emulation engagements. The team is delivering a Threat Intel‑led Red Team for an enterprise, preparing command and control infrastructure, developing social engineering campaigns and the associated collateral, executing phishing campaigns, and attempting to compromise internet‑facing systems, conducting privilege escalation and lateral movement within customer networks, hunting for objectives with less information provided by the customer, and exfiltrating data from the network all while avoiding detection from the customer security operations teams. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and advising clients on technical and process‑based controls for all manner of environments. You will perform Red and Purple Team assessments, including adversarial emulation of cyber attacks against customer organizations, and other technical cyber assessments including external engagement testing, web application, mobile, and wireless security testing. You will expand the team’s capabilities through tool creation, research on offensive techniques, incorporation of threat actor intelligence, internal presentations, and knowledge sharing. You will be responsible for providing cybersecurity consulting services and support to the clients. Responsibilities Perform offensive technical cybersecurity engagements of multiple nature. Interface with clients to address concerns, issues, or escalations; track and drive to closure of any issues that impact engagements and its value to clients. Advise clients on security best practices for remediating discovered issues. Collaborate with internal teams to expand capabilities to deliver value to clients.
