Warehouse Coordinator

Our client, a leading independent Oil & Gas operator, is currently seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to join their team based in Great Yarmouth.

This is a full-time position, working on a 12-month contract based in Great Yarmouth. Working hours are Monday to Friday with travel to cover various warehouses.

Experience/Qualifications:
  1. Computer literate with well-developed IT skills across Microsoft suite, specifically Word.
  2. Solutions based with strong planning, organising and numeric skills, and an excellent attention to detail.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
  4. Full clean driving licence.
  5. Forklift capabilities desirable but not essential as training will be given.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  1. You will become an integral part of our materials team gaining valuable hands-on experience.
  2. This role is responsible for assisting the wider team in providing an essential warehouse and supply chain function.
  3. Checking items received conform to instructions issued by approved Purchase Order.
  4. Checking items received are as ordered, the correct quantity, weight and serviceability.
  5. Checking items received conform to packing requirements set out in company guidelines and standards.
  6. Ensure Safety Data Sheets and Dangerous Goods Paperwork accompanies the goods.
  7. Pack Cargo Carrying Units (CCU's) IAW company standards.
  8. Unloading and Loading of HGV with forklift where required.
  9. Complete final Quality Assurance checks prior to CCU's being shipped.
  10. Complete transport request for materials to reach vendor/other sites in the business.
  11. Good housekeeping skills required to keep yard/warehouse tidy and free of rubbish.
  12. SAP management of materials and annual stock check process.
  13. Assist Warehouse Coordinator in all duties required.
  14. Any additional duty deemed necessary by the Materials Team Leader.
