Job Responsibilities

As a Year 1 Teacher, your key responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons tailored to the needs of all pupils.

Creating a nurturing, stimulating, and safe classroom environment.

Assessing, tracking, and supporting pupils' academic and personal development.

Working collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to ensure pupil success.

Promoting positive behaviour, inclusivity, and the school's core values.

Contributing to the wider life of the school through enrichment and community activities.

Qualifications/Experience

To be considered for the Year 1 Teacher position, you will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (desirable but not essential)

Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

Right to work in the UK

A passion for providing creative, high-quality teaching and learning
