The successful candidate will ideally have a proven history within a fast-paced environment, be a driven individual, and be looking to expand their culinary skills within a progressive company.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes.
  • Leading, motivating, managing, and training the kitchen team.
  • Assisting the Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus, and assisting with all aspects of kitchen management.
  • Stock control, ordering, dealing with suppliers, and all aspects of kitchen health, hygiene, and safety.
  • Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety.

A Sous Chef role at this establishment is like no other, with an outstanding reputation across Devon and Cornwall, and a huge focus on locally sourced ingredients. You will be working in assistance with the Head Chef, in support of training new and existing team members, and be looking to progress your own career.

All chefs must have constant communication skills, be driven, and have a great eye for detail. You will be passionate about delivering outstanding quality and an unforgettable dining experience.
