About The RoleWe are excited to be recruiting for a MOT Motor Vehicle Technician. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing motor groups. You will be responsible for MOT testing, service, repair and maintenance work for our customers' vehicles, readying them for the road ahead. Representing a variety of manufacturers and working on a diverse range of vehicles and models, you will take pride in your work, taking ownership of your customers and completing jobs to a high standard. Stoneacre offers opportunities to train within manufacturer franchises and progress toward Senior and Master Technician status. Through in-house and manufacturer training, you will receive full support to reach your full potential and elevate your career. What You Will DoPerform MOT testing, servicing, repair and maintenance on vehicles to required standards.Represent a variety of manufacturers and work on a diverse range of vehicles and models.Take ownership of customer vehicles and complete jobs to a high standard within set timescales.Attend training to progress within the Manufacturer Franchise and move toward Senior/Master Technician status.Contribute to a career-for-life at Stoneacre and participate in EV training programs.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment in line with Health & Safety standards.Provide clear and accurate vehicle fault diagnostics and write-ups for customers and manufacturers. About YouExperience in the Automotive sector in a technical role is required or relevant background.Qualified to Level 2 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and hold an MOT Testers Licence.Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a challenging but rewarding environment.Ability to work well under pressure with strong technical problem-solving skills.Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.Hold a full UK driving licence.
