The Role Our client is looking for an experienced Gate Automation Engineer to lead and support installations, commissioning, and maintenance of automated gates and access control systems. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring all projects are delivered to a high standard while representing a brand built on professionalism and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Install, commission, and maintain automated gate systems (swing, sliding, bi-fold, etc.) Fit and configure access control systems (keypads, intercoms, proximity readers) Diagnose faults and carry out repairs or upgrades Liaise with clients on-site to ensure smooth project delivery and clear communication Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used Ensure compliance with health and safety standards Requirements Proven experience in gate automation and access control installation Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams Full UK driving licence Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Able to work independently and manage time effectively What’s on Offer Competitive salary (£35,000–£40,000 DOE) Company van and fuel card Uniform and PPE provided Supportive, friendly team environment Varied and interesting projects across Dorset #J-18808-Ljbffr
