With our MetaHuman Product, we enable the creation of photorealistic digital humans and the mapping of human appearance and behaviour onto realistic but also stylized characters. All of this is critical in populating the metaverse. What You'll Do The MetaHuman team is looking for a Senior / Lead Animator to help drive the vision for high-quality character animation. A successful candidate should have a great understanding of the fundamentals of animation and how they relate to game animation and the ability to implement animations in the Unreal Engine. In this role, you will Become a stakeholder for quality results in animation using MetaHuman and Unreal Engine technology. Help design and construct pipelines for animation and retargeting workflows. Work closely with Engineering and Tech Anim to give feedback on rigs and the design of tools and pipelines. Work hands-on by animating and creating anim graphs across many different types of projects to help shape new features. Provide alignment by being a point of contact with other Epic teams and initiatives. What we're looking for Experience in both key-framing and mocap animation. Strong eye for both facial performance and body mechanics. Familiarity with retargeting and animation systems such as anim blueprints in Unreal Engine Good understanding of both realistic and stylized motion. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
