METERED CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR – 24 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT Join CUPONING PULICIDAD S.L. to work as a Metered Customer Service Advisor. This temporary role is 37 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, based in North Yorkshire (Northallerton / Bedale / Catterick). The contract is 24 months. Company CUPONING PULICIDAD S.L. is a Water Utility Company based in the Yorkshire region of England. About the role This role is part of the Water Service Delivery team at Yorkshire Water. You will read domestic and commercial water meters accurately, resolve metering issues, and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities Locate external meter chambers and enter customer premises on a cyclical basis to accurately record water meter readings. Maintain meter reading rounds and location notes to agreed standards. Attend customer appointments to investigate high/low consumption and take appropriate action. Carry out ad‑hoc meter readings as required (checks, final reads). Identify and replace damaged meters where possible within capability. Identify street furniture defects and undertake remedial action as appropriate. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and accident management procedures. Work as part of the team to deliver excellent performance and meet team objectives. Take personal responsibility for health and safety, risk management and compliance with the YW Safety Policy. Demonstrate drive, energy and determination to achieve performance benchmarks; demonstrate financial awareness in day‑to‑day decisions. Skills & Qualifications Comfortable working outdoors in all weathers and terrains. Experience with manual handling duties, including heavy lifting of manhole covers. Understanding of how the role fits within a business plan and can deliver outputs. Full driving licence. IT skills – competent using MS Office and quick to adapt to new systems. Experience working independently. Experience in a customer‑service environment. Benefits Competitive salary £25,776–£31,981 depending on experience. A company van.
