Role Description

As a Litigation Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of complex litigation matters. You will work closely with clients, providing expert legal advice and representation throughout the litigation process. Your role will involve developing and implementing effective litigation strategies, conducting thorough legal research, and preparing comprehensive case documentation.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle a wide range of litigation matters, including dispute resolution, commercial litigation, and debt recovery cases

* Provide expert legal advice to clients on litigation matters and potential outcomes

* Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients

* Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation

* Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and court applications

* Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations

* Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes through alternative dispute resolution methods when appropriate

* Manage client relationships and communicate complex legal issues clearly and effectively

* Collaborate with other members of the legal team and supervise junior solicitors and paralegals

* Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends

* Contribute to the firm's business development efforts by participating in networking events and client pitches

* Manage case files and ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures

* Prepare and deliver presentations on legal topics to clients and colleagues

* Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the litigation team

Qualifications and Requirements

* Qualified solicitor with 1-15 years of post-qualification experience in litigation

* Extensive experience in Dispute Litigation, Commercial Litigation, and Debt Recovery

* 35,000 to 65,000 years of relevant work experience

* Strong academic background with a law degree from a recognized institution

* Admitted to practice law in [relevant jurisdiction]
