Overview We're looking for a Highways Maintenance Operative – Road Marking to join our Transportation team based in Birmingham. This role offers a fantastic pension scheme, a competitive annual holiday entitlement, and more. As a Road Marker, you will undertake all aspects of road marking works and associated highway maintenance, including minor civil works or other highways related tasks. Key Responsibilities Drive/operate specialist lining vehicle/plant, perform vehicle checks, routine maintenance (e.g. oil and water checks), and cleaning. Undertake all aspects of road marking and other specialist surface application works, including high‑friction surface asphalt imprint and routine and cyclic maintenance activities. Take responsibility for the safety of yourself and others on the team, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and safe operation to protect members of the public. Qualifications Drive and hold a full driving licence. Category C licence. Knowledge of highways works. Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Disability Confident.
