Your mission We are looking for motivated and experienced Senior/Principal Civil Engineers to work on the design of the Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C (SZC) nuclear power stations, and our future pipeline of projects. You will provide civil expertise to successfully deliver projects in collaboration with clients, contractors, stakeholders and project teams. Key responsibilities Provide technical leadership and team management to deliver work packages effectively. Coordinate and communicate on complex engineering problems among project stakeholders. Provide technical review and respond to site queries and requested changes in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment to support contractor activities on HPC site. Conduct and review analysis of structures carried out in FEM packages (experience with Ansys beneficial). Provide technical oversight of reinforcement detailers and review detailing models and drawings. Offer expert oversight and technical direction to teams completing the design of reinforced concrete structures. Develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Support the business development team during the tendering process for future projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil or Structural Engineering. Chartered with ICE, IStructE, or equivalent experience with willingness to obtain Chartership. Experience using Ansys or equivalent structural FEM software. Experience in reinforced concrete calculation and design. Familiarity with relevant technical Codes of Practice and Industry Standards (Eurocodes, British Standards, ETC‑C applicable to HPC/SZC). Experience working on major infrastructure projects with a track record of delivering high‑quality work packages on schedule.
