Aspire People are recruiting for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH needs in a school located in Boston, Lincolnshire. This role is to work full-time on a temp‑to‑perm basis starting immediately. The working hours are 08:30 – 15:30, and you will predominantly be working 1:1 with students who show disregulated behaviour. The role requires a high level of resilience. We are ideally looking for energetic people who have experience working with children with social, emotional and mental health needs. Teaching Assistant Role & Responsibilities Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students. Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs. Create a safe learning environment for pupils. De‑escalate behaviour that challenges through the formation of trusting relationships. Have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND/SEMH. Have a passion for education.
