Leading the full product lifecycle: concept development, prototyping, testing, validation, and production. Managing projects efficiently, delivering on time, within budget, and keeping stakeholders informed. Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a collaborative, high‑performing team culture. Creating detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks with PDM. Building and testing prototypes using in‑house tools, 3D printing, and external suppliers. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams including Product Management and Compliance. Overseeing product testing and refining designs based on performance data. Ensuring regulatory compliance with support from internal specialists. Producing comprehensive specifications and documentation for manufacturing. Selecting materials (wood, metal, plastic) and coordinating with suppliers. Qualifications A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or equivalent experience. Hands‑on experience in mechanical engineering and full‑cycle product development. Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modelling, assemblies, 2D drawings) and PDM systems. Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering results. Proven success in launching products within a relevant industrial sector. Experience working with diverse materials and manufacturing processes (wood machining, metal casting, plastic injection moulding). Confidence in hands‑on prototyping and testing.
