Our client is a leading manufacturer of innovative, design engineered fire safety and security products specialising in fire door installation projects ranging from £1k to £2m mainly within Social Housing and Local Authority.

We are recruiting for an experienced sales professional to focus on developing contracts predominantly in London and the Northern Home Counties.

We are looking for a driven, target minded individual who is able to win new opportunities whilst also building on existing relationships.

Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role, successfully selling to Local Authorities, Construction, Social housing, Education, Healthcare (care homes ), regeneration sectors.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Generate new business opportunities and sales appointments
- Carry out research on the market, networking, face to face meetings, telephone, video calls
- Achieve agreed volume and revenue targets set in the annual plans
- Analysis of research
- Produce weekly sales reports from CRM system
- Sell new propositions to clients
- Produce accurate forecasting
- Improve networking and relationships with existing client base

- Self-reliant, self-motivated, highly driven, proven track record in winning new business
- Confident relationship building skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Able to communicate at all levels, carry out presentations effectively and have good written skills
- Good planning, organising and time-keeping
- Commercially minded
- Generate new business opportunities and sales appointments
- Experience of producing weekly sales reports from a CRM system
- Able to produce accurate forecasting
- Previous experience/knowledge of passive fire/ fire doors/construction/local authority/social housing/regeneration sectors

**Qualifications**:

- Degree level education desirable or formal recognised sales training qualification
- Full driving license

The role will be based out in the field meeting existing and prospective customers across London and the South, some of these meetings will also take place on Zoom /Teams.
