Recruitment
Help with the recruitment process, providing advice and support on the best way to resource whilst ensuring the equal opportunities policy is implemented and reasonable adjustments applied where applicable.
Manage the apprenticeship scheme ensuring the success of the scheme against contract requirements, retention rate and Management buy-in.
Consider contract requirements in accordance with Strategic policy.
Absence management
Maintain records for staff sickness, absence, and other types of leave entitlements.
Monitor absence and report to Management when Employees reach a trigger.
Support Managers with absence meetings.
HR Advocate
Build effective and strong working relationships within the business. Regularly update Management and the team on activity to ensure a joined-up HR service is delivered to the business.
Identify areas for improvement and develop interventions for change with clear deliverable improvements when evaluated.
Contribute to the creation, development, and implementation of HR strategies and policies, ensuring they comply with employment law and best practices.
Promote best practices across the business, presenting complex HR matters in a clear and concise way ensuring managers implement HR policies
will help with study package after probation period
