AG Hotels is looking for a dedicated "**Kitchen Porter**" to join our team at Kilton Inn Pub. As a "**Kitchen Porter**", you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring a seamless culinary experience for our guests. If you are a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, this opportunity is perfect for you The successful kitchen porter will also be responsible for assisting chefs and other kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Keeping kitchen areas clean and sanitized
- Washing all cooking tools and utensils
- Supporting kitchen staff by taking on food prep (peeling and chopping when required)
- Stocking and organizing supplies, such as plates, glasses etc.
- Following food safety procedures, such as maintaining food temperature and handling food in a hygienic manner
- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to management

**Prerequisites**
- Experience in a similar role is preferred but not necessary but an eagerness to learn is
- Should be available to work on weekends and bank holidays
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of the team
- You must have speed & an eye for detail
- Basic Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: £10.40-£10.80 per hour
