An opportunity to join an experienced, versatile team, delivering first-class services to our world-class Armed Forces personnel.

**Position Overview**

Based at the Royal Navy Defence Diving School, Horsea Island, working primarily in a storeroom environment, we are looking for a versatile customer focused Stores Administrator, to provide first class service to the Armed Forces (predominantly the Royal Navy). The post holder will be versatile in controlling stored items to ensure optimum availability to the Naval community on site. Training can be provided, where appropriate.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Demand and Issue specialist diving stores and clothing.
- Input, progress and maintain all demands on the Management of the Joint Deployed Inventory (MJDI) used for stores accounting.
- Unloading deliveries from vehicles, unpackaging goods and replenishing stock.
- Review incoming deliveries of goods received against invoices for discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders, promoting customer service excellence.
- Actively adhere to a safe working culture and adhere to the Health and Safety procedures, processes, and the law.
- Servicing and maintenance of diving suits.
- Undertake any additional tasks as determined by the Line Manager, including leading on change to meet the emerging needs of the business.

**What we are looking for**
- Proven experience of working in a warehouse/store's environment.
- Proven track record of delivering quality with customer-facing service and experience.
- Ability to adapt to short notice changes to requirements and deadlines.
- Good standard of education, preferably grade C or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
- Occasional local travel to work at other sites to provide absence cover as necessary.
- Holds a Full UK Driving Licence and Forklift Licence (**Forklift training can be provided**)

Proof of right to work in the UK essential

The Contract operates a 37.5-hour working week between the hours of 0730 and 1700 Mon to Fri only. The current working hours allow for an early finish on a Friday.

Required to wear approved company work wear.

Hold a full UK driving licence.
