As a Inventory Coordinator you will take charge of planning, scheduling, monitoring and forecasting of materials required for production. This role will involve daily inventory management, coordination and communication with production management, supply chain manager and sales team to understand and execute on both short and long-term production material requirements.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone who has previous experience in stock control, MRP, short-term and long-term materials scheduling and liaising with suppliers.

**Job Responsibility**:

- To effectively schedule production materials to satisfy internal manufacturing requirements and ultimately, Customer demand.
- Responsibility for carrying out short
- and medium-term scheduling, (approx. 0-16 week timescales), of materials to support production activities. In addition, work with the Production Manager and Supply Chain Manager in respect of longer-term planning.
- To use MRP as the tool on which planning decisions are made. Ensure accuracy of forecast data, through close liaison with the sales team, which is used to supplement confirmed purchase orders in this planning tool.
- Responsibility for planning and raising purchase requisitions for low and medium value stock items. Work with General Manager in respect of high value stock requirements.
- Responsible for working with the Goods Inwards Technician and the Finance team to ensure that inventory levels are correct in Sage and RIC, including organisation of periodic stock checks/cycle counts.
- Understand, evaluate and, where possible, resolve, with the support of the Supply Chain team, any risks to the production schedule as a result of material supply issues.
- Ensuring materials availability supports the Sales Order book and escalate to Production Manager/General Manager if risks to 100% OTIF are identified.
- Where workload allows, there may also be opportunities to support the General Manager and Production Manager with other strategic projects.

**Profile**:

- A motivated team player, with proven experience of planning, tracking, and forecasting
- An organised person, largely responsible for managing their own daily tasks and timekeeping.
- A strong communicator

**Advantageous**:

- Familiar with using Sage 200 or similar packages
- Comfortable with data analysis
