Job responsibilities will include
- Attending various Healthcare and Pharmaceutical sites Nationwide as required
- Carry out ad-hoc assembly and repair works in the case warehouse
- Execution of Installation and Operational Qualification Protocols
- Validation of new and existing HVAC systems
- Validation of Microbiological Safety Cabinets
- Validation of Operating theatres to HTM 03-01
- Identifying potential contamination issues within Client cleanrooms and advising improvements
- Ensuring equipment operates to Specification
- Investigating and fault finding on site when failures occur
- Developing and maintaining working relationships with new and existing clients and site teams
- Supporting the development of the Service Department.
- Filter integrity testing (DOP testing)
- Measurement of air supply/extract rates
- Measurement of air change rates
- Measurement of air velocities in isolators & LAF cabinets
- Measurement of pressure differentials
- Sampling for airborne particles
- Sampling for airborne microbial contamination
- Surface sampling for microbial contamination
Other requirements of the role are as follows
- Engineering experience
- Working under GMP, P601 and HTM 03-01 conditions, including following Standard of Procedures and other method statements is essential
- A full clean UK driving licence
- Working weekends and evenings on a rota basis
- Experience in air flow testing
- Positive can do attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility, as there will be a need to work away from home and regular overnight stays
The salary is negotiable dependant upon experience and will be between £28,000 and £40,000 per annum
