**Position: HGV Mechanic**
**Location: Newcastle**
**Money: £32,000 per annum + Overtime**

**Hours: 7am to 7pm - 4 on, 4 off Day shift**
My client, a well-established commercial vehicle repair and maintenance specialist is actively seeking to employ a skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic for their purpose built, state of the art workshop facility.
The successful HGV Mechanic will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle service, maintenance and repair.
HGV Mechanic General duties to include;
- Vehicle Inspections
- General Servicing
- Correction / repair of vehicle defects
- Engine / Gearbox repairs & overhauls
- MOT Preparation / Presentation
- Completion of all required paperwork
The successful HGV Mechanic must be a fully qualified HGV Mechanic (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three or equivalent). A full driving licence is a must for this role; a commercial licence (Either Class 1 or 2) would be beneficial but not essential.
