The Drive Project delivers training programmes that harness the power of storytelling to support the personal and professional growth of businesses and beneficiaries of charities, enhancing their wellbeing and resilience.

We are probably best known for our recovery and wellbeing work with the military and veteran community. Through our recovery and wellbeing programmes such as Bravo 22 Company and Making Generation R, we have trained over 800 members of the Armed Forces Community - most of whom have experienced either limb loss or mental health trauma such as PTSD - in sharing their story.

**Overview**

We are are looking for a conscientious and personable individual to join The Drive Project team as a Project Assistant for the award-winning Making Generation R: Resilience Through Inspiration programme (MGR), delivered in partnership with Blesma, the charity for limbless veterans.

Together, Blesma and The Drive Project use Theatre professionals to train wounded veterans to deliver resilience workshops to young people, frontline workers and adult military communities across the UK based on their own stories of overcoming adversity.

Through Making Generation R, we want to help more people to be more resilient when faced with difficult situations. One of the most effective ways to encourage resilience is through inspiration from others that have overcome their own difficulties. Since 2016, we have trained over 100 Blesma members who between them have shared their stories with over 125,000 people.

**Role is responsible to the Project Manager**

To work with the Project Manager and Project Coordinator to deliver the following:
**Audience Engagement**:

- Manage the online MGR booking system
- Contact/ liaise with schools, frontline worker and military organisations and book in workshops
- Assist PC in the organisation and management of the workshop calendar and booking strategy
- Develop and Maintain relationships with the programme’s target audiences
- Contact schools, Blesma members and workshop facilitators with booking information and monitor responses
- Assist with outreach communication and research to expand booking reach
In addition to this you will be asked to

**Help the team to deliver the Meet and Greet and Training days**:

- Work alongside PM to ensure smooth running of the rehearsal space
- Help with the daily transport for participants
- Be on hand to welcome the participants on arrival
- Ensure that all materials/refreshments are kept well stocked and looked after
- Encourage work and support wellbeing in the rehearsal space
- Assist with the organisation of lunches for everyone
**Relationship Management**:

- To maintain regular and effective communication with the PM when working remotely
- To be flexible and adaptable to working hours
**General**:

- Assist PM in ensuring that all necessary documentation is in place including DBS certificates
- Attend events and meetings as well as training including First Aid, Health and Safety at Work and Safeguarding training
- General administration
