**Your new company**
Hays are currently recruiting for a successful PE backed business based in Great Yarmouth. This company are going through significant growth and are looking to bolster their finance team.
**Your new role**
The main purpose of the role is to provide a comprehensive AR and credit service for an international business. you will be primarily responsible for all AR processes and collections but may also be required to support the wider finance function.
Specifically your tasks will be:

- Create and manage new customer accounts
- Run credit checks and review credit limits
- Process all sales invoices for both UK and overseas customers
- Collect cash and overdue debt from UK and overseas ledgers
- Allocate cash
- Resolve invoice queries and provide documentation such as credit notes and copy invoices where necessary
- Escalate debt queries to senior management.

This is a full time role working Monday to Friday 8.30-5 with 1 hour for lunch.
This is an office based role.

**What you'll need to succeed**
You will need to have worked in a similar credit control or accounts assistant role and be confident being on the phone for the majority of the day. You must be available immediately or on short notice.
