Our mission is to provide a fulfilment service with mínimal waste and kerbside recyclable materials for artisan brands and established brands wishing to develop their food portfolio into the frozen market. Our CO2 is green, and we’ve worked incredibly hard to patent our packaging system - unique in the market place.

**Frozen Food Warehouse Operative**

**Overview**

Chillistick has been manufacturing dry ice for over 10 years and carry out thousands of deliveries per year nationwide. We are the biggest independent dry ice supplier in the UK. We are a multi-faceted business - one of our key markets is frozen food fulfilment.

Frozen food is a growing market worth £6bn. Our mission is to provide a fulfilment service using dry ice which guarantees the items arrive frozen with mínimal waste and kerbside recyclable materials for artisan brands and established brands wishing to develop their food portfolio into the frozen market. Our CO2 is green, and we’ve worked incredibly hard to patent our packaging system - unique in the market place. Being a dry ice manufacturer and providing fulfilment is a unique concept and we currently ship out 290 sku’s for over 20 brands.

**The Role**

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team where the role(s) can be organically developed within an established business.

You will report directly to the 3PL Director offering key support and information on the day to day operation of the business.

**Scope**

A small business with >£1m turnover - all team members are key and as a new role in an expanding business the activities of the role can be nurtured and grow depending on the business requirements. A full hands-on approach across all departments is desired.

**Responsibilities**

Processing orders for all brands using a new WMS system for the daily dispatches. Updating the order statuses and providing automatic feedback to Brands of their dispatches using the WMS system.

Provide warehouse with “dispatch ready” details of all orders and liaise with warehouse on the day’s activities.

Make a record of all daily dispatches and report the information to finance for billing.

**Conditions**

You will be bending, stretching, and lifting sometimes heavy items

You would be required to wear protective clothing such as safety shoes.

It is cold during the winter months as there is no heating in the warehouse.

You will be picking food orders from freezers which are -22 degrees.

**Hours**

Mon-Fri - 9.00 am to 5.00 pm
