**About Martin Renewables Solutions Limited**
An exciting opportunity to be involved right from the start of this newly formed subsidiary, the **Warehouse Clerk **will be responsible for all warehouse operation activities. Specifically, overseeing the shipment and delivery of spare parts, initiating and documenting warehouse transactions, maintaining records, managing inventories. This position is for a highly motivated individual exhibiting a high degree of initiative and with excellent communication skills.
**Role Responsibilities**
- Primary warehouse contact, responsible person for receiving and unloading new spare parts (Counterbalance forklift truck and pallet stacker training will be provided)
- Performs quality control and quantity inspections on all incoming materials, reconciling electronically with purchase orders. (Training will be given)
- Book in/out on our ERP system any incoming / outgoing deliveries of stock (SAP Business 1 ERP training will be provided)
- Organise component storage within the racking, label boxes and record bin/shelf location on ERP system
- Monitors and controls stock withdrawals and replacements keeping accurate records
- Picking, packing, re-boxing, wrapping, banding of ordered items to be dispatched to customers
- Labelling of items to be dispatched
- Check items against delivery note (QA / QC)
- Coordinates with transportation couriers and organises the deliveries of parts to clients
- Loads boxes, pallets onto trucks / vans and dispatch to UK customers
**General / Additional Responsibilities**
- Inventory control/monitoring, minimum stock level control
- Manages stock rotation
- Control and ordering of warehouse consumables
- Some general refurbishment works of steel components, Measuring, drilling, grinding, polishing. (Training will be given)
- Use of basic hand-tools (screwdriver, hammer, small pry-bar etc) to carry out some basic woodwork/crate construction (training will be given).
- Organises annual inventory taking
- Assists with maintaining and updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments and returns to ensure accuracy of the facility’s inventory system.
- Keeps the warehouse and records area in a neat and orderly manner.
- Maintains the warehouse cleanliness
- Maintains the warehouse safety, Safety Inspections of Counterbalance forklift truck, fire alarms system and fire equipment (training will be given)
- Must have an attention to detail
- Team Worker
**Qualifications**
- High School qualifications (GCSE), ideally Grade C (4) or above in Maths and English
- Full UK Driving licence
- Minimum 2-year warehouse experience (preferred)
- The ability to operate mobile equipment is preferred (e.g., forklift, pallet stacker)
- Capable of reading and interpreting part lists and drawings
- Strong computer skills
- Some physical labour (including ability to lift goods up to 25kg) is required
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service oriented, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must have a positive attitude
- Strong desire for continued growth and learning
