**The role**

An exciting opportunity to play a vital role in delivery of the global internal communications strategy by planning and managing a range of communication tools that will help engage and inform our 82,000 people around the world.

You’ll be part of a team that helps drive commitment to Bupa’s purpose and brand, to improve business results by helping our people understand our vision and strategy.

Your role will focus on the administration of our global internal communications platform, Workvivo, as well as providing overall support with communications to our head office population (around 600 people).

You’ll be someone who thinks outside the box and come up with creative and engaging content; building effective relationships with diverse colleagues; and delivering innovative, best-in-class communications activities.

You’ll learn from everyone in the team and grow your own internal communications skills.

There’s lots to do so we’re looking for someone who can speak up, step up, have new ideas and make things happen.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Administration, moderation and management of the Workvivo platform
- Having your finger on the pulse of activity across Bupa, and the ability to step in to keep conversations relevant and respectful.
- Answering queries and feedback from colleagues in a timely way.
- Drafting and posting global content alongside the rest of the Group IC team, as content agreed in bi-weekly planning sessions.
- Supporting global IC colleagues with Workvivo-related queries and the sharing of best practice where appropriate.
- Working with IC team to manage a productive and robust relationship with Workvivo themselves (our external partner).
- Assisting with inspiring and engaging internal communication projects and campaigns for our Head Office function.
- Supporting the delivery of live in-person and virtual events as identified in the overall internal communications plan. This may cover small face-to-face sessions through to large-scale town hall meetings at Angel Court.
- Helping to design and deliver robust reporting evaluation methods to measure the success of internal communications, including updating the IC writing guidelines and helping stakeholders to understand internal brand guidelines.
- General support and assistance to the rest of the IC team.

**You**
- Strong communication skills with an ability to flex styles depending on purpose, audience and stakeholder.
- Focused on delivery and do this on brief, on budget and on time.
- An enthusiastic advocate of effective internal communication and the appropriateness of the various tools and channels.
- Demonstrate strong and flexible writing skills including high standard announcements, copy for publications, scripts and campaign plans.
- Be committed to evaluation and measurement.
- Be IT literate, including experience using social media and ideally other comms publishing platforms.
- Work collaboratively both internally and with external suppliers and agencies.
- Willing to pitch in to help other communication colleagues on initiatives.
- A personable self-starter - enthusiastic, persuasive and diplomatic.
- Have creative flair and empathy with our values.
- Be able to appraise information and situations to identify the appropriate communication action, channel and audience.
