**Key Responsibilities as a Credit Controller**:
- The Collection of debts in line with the Company Credit Policy
- Update and issue Daily Cash Collection Reports to management
- Record payments and allocate any cash coming into the organisation on a daily basis
- Manage all sales invoices and make sure they are invoiced in a timely and accurate manner
- Place overdue client accounts on hold where necessary and arrange payment methods accordingly
- Stay on top of monthly statement runs
- Deal with a variety of customer queries to ensure that all enquiries are handled in a professional and timely manner
- Run weekly/monthly reports on individual ledger to senior management where necessary
- Highlight client accounts who require litigation action and escalate accordingly
- Ensure the Debtors' ledgers are closed off in line with month-end
- Month end reconciliation
- Set up new client accounts including payment methods
- Ensure that balance on cash books are reconciled
- Assist with Direct Debit payments
**Essential Skills and Competencies**
- Must possess Advance Excel skills including Vlookups & Pivot Tables for reporting purposes Ability to work to deadlines
- Must have a minimum of 3 years' credit control experience within an end-to-end function including full Sales Ledger duties
- Proven exposure to a large ledger of clients - preferable 500+
- Knowledge of the US market of previous experience working on US accounts would be beneficial.
