A leading financial services firm are actively searching for a banking or financial services experienced Interim Financial Controller to start immediately
With focus on the technical & reporting side of finance, this role would be perfect for someone with solid experience in Finance Controllership & enjoys it

You will report to the Group Financial Controller & your key duties include:

- Preparation of management & statutory accounts.
- Preparing annual budgets & forecasts.
- Consolidation of group accounts for several large entities.
- Supporting the Group Financial Controller with all aspects of month-end, quarter-end & year-end accounts.
- Implementing & maintaining structured reporting timetables & appropriate reporting formats.
- Help in producing annual corporation tax & VAT returns.
- Liaison with external regulatory bodies; such as the FCA.
- Board reporting assistance.
- Treasury management & payments.
- Driving the improvement & change through new financial controls framework, MI reporting & initiating tighter, more efficient, smart financial systems, controls & processes.
- Manage ad-hoc projects regularly.
- You are a qualified accountant (Preferably ACA/ACCA).
- You have banking & financial services or specialist Lending experience & an audit background.
- You have 7 years post-qualification experience.
- You are a proven leader who enjoys team development.
- You are able to take on a hands-on approach.
- You enjoy liaising & communicating information to senior partners/stakeholders.
- You have the gravitas for this role.
