We are seeking a meticulous and conscientious Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible to ensure the effective and efficient day-to-day logistics operations by coordinating the storage and distribution of our products.

**Working Hours**: Each working week consists of 5 shifts (Monday to Friday). Each shift will be from 8am to 6pm. Each shift includes 1 hour of unpaid meal break.

**Total paid working hours per week**: 45 hours

**Basic annual salary**: From £29,250

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **Shipping and Logistics**: Coordinate the transportation of products from our in-house facility directly to our customers and to local and international fulfilment centres such as Amazon’s. Maintaining high level of accuracy and efficiency is expected and required. This may involve:

- Utilize order management software to check that all daily in-house orders have been fulfilled and dispatched in a timely manner.
- Generate shipping manifests after the picker packer completes order fulfilment.
- Choose the most cost-effective shipping methods to transport the products to warehouse fulfilment centres, while ensuring timely deliveries.
- Arrange shipping collections and correspond with the shipping courier providers or depots to ensure delivery pickups come on time.
- Ensure that only high-quality products are prepared for shipment in the appropriate packaging and labels as per in-house’s or Amazon's or other distribution centres’ requirements. This might involve using specific packaging materials and adhering to labelling guidelines to ensure smooth order processing.
- Monitor online marketplace portals and shipping courier tracking sites, to ensure timely, accurate, and complete product reception.
- Liaise and coordinate with the production operative responsible for stock replenishment to prepare the required products for shipping to fulfilment centres.
- Work independently and collaboratively with Logistics Assistant to ensure the shipping and logistics services meets or exceeds metrics required by the company.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:Facilitate the movement of our products for smooth cross-border logistics. This may include:

- Ensure that all necessary documentation and paperwork, including commercial invoices, airway bills, are prepared and submitted correctly for each shipment to local and international Amazon warehouses or similar distribution centres.
- Correspond with our indirect representatives in the EU and shipping couriers’ export customs team for customs clearance.
- **Supply Chain**: Ensure supplies align with production schedules and sales commitments. Anticipate lead time variations and seasonal factors. Communicate supply needs to the line manager in advance. Ensure timely delivery, inspecting for quality and accuracy. Report any issues promptly to the line manager.
- **Process Enhancement**: Continuously assess, feedback to line manager, and suggest improvements to logistics processes to ensure timely deliveries while reducing waste and maximising use of space, money, labour, and other resources. The processes of how fulfilment centres manage our products should also be considered during the assessment.
- **Process Returned Orders**: Inspect and process returned goods, restock them into our inventory system and update our inventory software accordingly.
- Maintain strong relationships with our suppliers and shipping providers.
- Maintain proper documentation for all records.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and tidy working area.
- Maintain Health and Safety standards and promote safe working conditions and practices at all times.

**Skills, Qualifications, and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, Master’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of logistic processes, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management, ideally within an e-commerce environment serving multiple online marketplaces.
- Understanding of the administrative and customs requirements to send goods to international customers and warehouse fulfilment centres.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity in inventory and order management software, logistics systems, and online marketplace platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel.
- Strong numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional detail orientation, and the ability to execute tasks accurately with efficiency and timeliness.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills - strong team player.
