The clinic is based in Castlefield, in the city centre of Manchester, next to the iconic Deansgate Square towers and walking distance from Deansgate Train & Metrolink stations. The clinic is led by a multi-award winning professional team including a Consultant Dermatologist, Plastic Surgeon & Aesthetic/Laser Practitioner.
**Job role**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Admin Assistant / Healthcare Assistant (HCA) / Phlebotomist with excellent clinical skills, customer service and organisational skills to join our team working providing the highest standard of care for our patients.
We are looking for someone who is able to work in a busy medical clinic environment and willing to go above and beyond for our patients and the team.
**Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:
- Administrative and reception duties
- Venepuncture
- Assisting with clinical procedures including skin surgery and non-surgical aesthetic procedures
- Obtaining and labelling specimens
- Chaperoning doctors during patient examinations
- Booking patients/diary management
- Assisting in maintaining standards to meet CQC requirements
- Regular cleaning duties to comply with COVID-19 guidelines and CQC standards for healthcare facilities
- Processing payments
- Liaising with private hospitals & private insurance companies
- Daily cleaning responsibilities
- Please note this job includes evenings and Saturday working on a shared rota (currently alternate Saturdays on a regular basis - but additional cover may be needed when colleagues are away)

**Experience required**:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a HCA/phlebotomist (aesthetic/skin/cosmetic surgery clinic experience desirable)
- Experience with using an electronic patient record management system
- Experience with handling calls (new enquiries and patients)
**Skills required**:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills - to maintain our high standard of patient care and outstanding reputation
- Enthusiastic team player - good people skills and able to work with other members of the team to fulfil clinic needs. Also flexible and willing to help other members of the team or cover for colleagues who are on leave when needed
- Organisational/time management skills - able to organise time effectively to carry out the various responsibilities effectively and to a high standard
- Reliable & dependable - able to complete tasks within agreed time frames with good attention to detail
