Part of a wider global HR team, you will be managing and overseeingall HR activity for the UK and Ireland in a stand alone capacity covering the full spectrum of HR to include; recruitment, ER, performance, restructuring, payroll through to influencing and coaching senior leaders.
This is a broad generalist role where no two days are the same so would suit someone who is flexible, enjoys a mix of operational and strategic exposure and is happy to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in and make a difference. Working with a mix of operations,sales, and scientific employees, you'll be a confident communicator, approachable, analytical and enjoy being visible and building great relationships.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Providing advice and guidance to the UK leadership team on a range of issues such as restructures, L&D, performance and policy updates
- Coach and up-skill managers as needed and arrange training / 1:1 sessions / workshops
- Oversee the recruitment process from sign off to interviews; hiring the best talent into the business and ensuring competitive salaries offered
- Managing the monthly payroll for the UK and Ireland, inputting salary changes for starters, leavers, maternity, promotions etc.
- On-boarding new employees ensuring they are set up for success
- Facilitating conversations with managers around restructures, resource planning, organisational changes, performance reviews
- Rolling out and embedding global initiatives to the UK teams
- Introducing new engagement and well-being initiatives
- Managing any ER cases as they arise
- Project Work such as benefit renewals, health and safety, risk assessments, COVID related work
This is a great role for someone who enjoys a broad generalist role. If you’ve worked in a global business supporting the UK division then this could be a great opportunity for you. Hybrid working on offer ideally with 3 days a week in the office and 2 basedat home.
Car parking on-site. Some flexibility on hours. Start date needs to be before 1st April.
