Pharmaceutical Buyers Admin Assistant

We have a vacancy for a full time Pharmaceutical Buyers Admin Assistant. The working hours for this position are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm (with half an hour for lunch).

The purpose of the role is to support our busy pharmaceutical buying department with general office support and admin tasks.

Successful applicants will have the ability to work under pressure and prioritise an ever changing to-do list in a fast paced environment. He or she will have excellent interpersonal skills in order to not only build a good rapport with internal departments but also with our external suppliers.

As a natural team player, with a friendly and helpful disposition, you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal whilst also demonstrating an ambition to develop skills. You will also have the ability to read and understand data with a keen eye for detail.

Tasks include but are not exhaustive:
- General office duties (rebate management, tender support, pricing updates, product creation, managing the diary)
- Processing and managing orders
- Negotiating prices
- Managing stock levels
- Maintaining and developing relationships with suppliers

Skills that are required:

- Highly organised
- Problem solver
- Working to deadlines
- Thrives in team work
- Good communicator
- Excellent telephone manner
- Proficient in Excel (Vlookups, sorting data, highlighting data that meets certain conditions, creating reports, understanding the importance of keyboard shortcuts and productivity tricks)
