Part I Architectural Assistant

A2 is a multidiscipline design practice covering all realms of architecture and development. From creating dream homes, and working on large-scale developments, to carrying out our own property development opportunities and new builds, we strive to provide a quality and transparent service to clients from inception to completion.

Being a dynamic practice with a diverse portfolio of work, we are looking to strengthen and grow our Hampshire team to help deliver our ever-growing pipeline of projects and opportunities.

**THE ROLE & WHAT YOU WILL DO**

Working in the planning and design sector, we are looking for a creative and driven Architectural Assistant who will be responsible for supporting architectural projects from conception to completion. The role will be vital to setting continued standards within the business and a vital part of our plans for expansion in the local area.

The role will entail, but will not be limited to:

- Preparing designs using AutoCAD and traditional drawing methods
- Attending site visits and liaising with project partners and contractors
- Introduction and preparation of work to potential new clients to secure works
- Problem-solving and maintaining individual time management

**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- Experience being client-facing and managing expectations
- Excellent design skills with proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience in Adobe Suite and Sketchup is desirable
- Knowledge and a good understanding of the UK Building Regulations and planning policies
- Good construction knowledge and the ability to coordinate packages
- A full driver's license (with access to your own vehicle)
- Training will be provided as required

Pay: £21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
